The guesthouse has a prime location just a few minutes' walk from Buccoo Beach. The view from the lower patio is gorgeous, and sitting out there felt relaxing. Enjoyed cooking in the shared kitchen, which is cozy and fully equipped with essential utensils. Spent lots of time on the communal patio upstairs, where my kids loved the mini library. On the downside, the beds weren’t the comfiest, and I found ants in our room. I kept food in the kitchen to avoid them, but they still found us. Also, be wary of noise at night from local bars and the Sunday School events. They can get quite loud late into the evening. The lack of basic toiletries like shampoo was surprising.

big balcony, close proximity to Buccoo Beach, strong aircon and Wi-Fi
Extremely dated facilities!!! The lack of basic amenities like shower gel and shampoo is baffling!!! The noise levels from locals and gardeners can seriously disrupt your relaxation!!! Cash only policy is outdated and frustrating!!!

The sunset views from the terrace were absolutely breathtaking, making for a perfect evening backdrop.
The beds could use some upgrading for added comfort, as they weren't the coziest for a good night's sleep.

Incredible sunsets from the terrace!
Our experience was marred by constant noise that made it nearly impossible to sleep. It felt like we were battling loud music from nearby bars and roosters right outside our window every night. The room while promising in terms of views, left much to be desired in terms of comfort, with beds that truly weren’t conducive to a good night's sleep.

Couple's getaway with charm
The location is incredible, just across from the beach. I remember chatting with the manager, who was friendly and helped us feel welcomed—she even offered recommendations for local activities!
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but for the experience, it still worked out fine.

great location but some noise at night
The location is prime. just a short walk to Buccoo Beach with a stunning sea view that can be enjoyed from both the lower patio and the communal space. The communal kitchen was a highlight for our family, as it had a cozy atmosphere allowing us to cook our meals together. The staff members were exceptional, particularly Chris, who was incredibly attentive to our children's needs and prepared delicious meals on request.

The location is superb, just a short stroll to the beach, offering breathtaking views from the balcony. The staff are exceptionally hospitable, with one manager going above and beyond to assist with various requests, creating a truly memorable experience. However, I noticed the beds weren't the most comfortable, which made it challenging for restful nights, and the absence of basic toiletries like shampoo was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, there were some unwanted guests in the form of ants in the communal kitchen, which was slightly off-putting.
